in the USA. The company specializes in the manufacturing of high performance semiconductor laser components and subsystems.
Lumics developed a breakthrough technology (European Patent No. 01 982 163.6) which significantly improves the performance and reliability of laser diodes. As a leading supplier of fiber coupled laser diodes the company offers the highest power density and the best power-conversion efficiency. The production unit for semiconductor laser chips is based in Germany.
