Diode Laser Systems

The Lumics Diode Laser Systems are based on hermetically sealed and burn-in tested single emitters. The main advantages of Lumics Diode Laser Systems are:

low operating current since single emitter diodes are operated in series
more precised optical output power control
simpler Diode Laser driver design (low current higher voltage)
higher lifetime due to burn-in testing and screening of the individual laser diodes

Option-list:

OPT 1:	Optical fiber connector Allows an easy exchange of the output fiber. Customers can use their own patch cordes. As a safety feature a fiber detector is included to ensure that no lasing can occur while the fiber is un-mounted.
OPT 2:	Red pilot beam 650nm, < 1mW output power, eye safe (laser-class 3)
OPT 3:	Water cooling OEM laser heads can be mounted on a tab water cooling plate, no DI water necessary.

Note 1:	All diode laser systems are equipped with temperature sensor and power monitor
Note 2:	All our broad area single emitters do have a +/-10nm wavelength tolerance; we can select tighter specifications on request.
Note 3:	If you do not find your wavelenghts (790-1550nm), please contact us; we do specific wavelength on a wafer-base.
Note 4:	All our packages are laser welded or soldered, we do not use epoxy.
