Lumics fiber coupled laser with 120W
Germany -- Berlin, Lumics a manufacturer of pump laser diodes announced a new product line of watercooled fiber coupled laser modules with up to 120W optical output power from a glass fiber with 200µm core diameter.
The LU09xxC120 is available at 915nm (LU0915C120), 940nm (LU0940C120) and 975nm wavelength (LU0975C120).
The LU09xxC120 features up to 120W optical output power from 200/220µm multi mode fiber. Optional a visible red pilot beam and a SMA 905 connector is available. The diode laser is based on multiple single emitter laser diodes which are assembled on a watercooled plate.
The diode laser system is watercooled with a required flow rate of 3 l/min. The cooling water can be simple tap water without any special teatment. The ambient temperature range is defined from 0 - 60C . The footprint is specified with 150mm x 70mm x 150mm (WxHxD). The laser is designed for industrial laser applications as a pump source or a direct diode application in material processing.
The high performance of the device is based on Lumics proprietary chip technology which ensures very high reliability with a breakthrough in laser facet passivation.
